Now that my event is over I have to refocus my energy. So often I feel like I am just putting out fires, I don't really get a chance to make any real headway. I have actualy been banned from using the phrase, "When things finally slow down we can..." at home. I look forward to the days when I won't be so freaked out about school, even though I know some other responsibility will just creep into it's place.
What is one thing you are really looking forward to doing after you graduate?
Oh my goodness I totally get this! I have a job just like yours. I'm a fire fighter as well because it seems like I spend my days at work putting out fires as well. I look forward to being out of school so that next year I can take a big vacation. I want to go back to Rome. We went a couple of years ago and it was a fantastic vacation. I look forward to coming home and being able to do whatever I want to instead of homework. My husband and I will be able to take weekend/overnight bike rides and spend more time with friends. I am going to be so busy, but a good busy. When do you graduate? I am done in December.
ReplyDeleteHappy your event turned out well. I agree with you, no matter what you finish, there is always another task waiting to take their place. After graduation, I want a break from the pulling and tugging of life. Maybe a full week vacation just for me, no kids, just me. I feel I have that right to be selfish just if it is a thought... We all know reality will return!
